I am pleased to introduce you to the 4th edition of Lex Littera ( “Newsletter” in Latin). First, I wish all our clients, stakeholders, well-wishers, and readers a happy and prosperous 2023.
It has been over two years since I took over the reins as Managing Partner from our Founding Partner of blessed memory, Dafe Akpedeye SAN, OFR, C.Arb. I am honoured by Compos Mentis Legal Practitioners’ impact and strides over the last two years. In this edition, we have introduced this little excerpt, “From the Managing Partner’s Desk,” as a guide for you, dear reader.
Compos Mentis LP has grown in leaps and bounds, and I am so privileged to lead a young, vibrant team of dedicated lawyers and support staff. We will be consistent in our half-yearly publication of Lex Littera, providing insightful commentary on topical legal issues and our sterling touch as Mentisians in elevating the reputation and quality of our submissions.
